Requirements
- 5+ years of experience cutting TV spots or short-form video at a senior-editor level.
- Demonstrable experience testing and using generative AI tools like Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Suno, or Sora.
- Active participation in AI creator communities such as Discord servers, X threads, and Reddit.
- Ability to execute structured testing and documentation of tool pros and cons.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality video content from scratch.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and collaborating with engineering and legal teams.
Responsibilities
- Research and test AI tools by running structured hands-on pilots for generative video, image, audio, and text technologies.
- Build a playbook featuring prompt libraries, evaluation reports, and best-practice guides for the creative team.
- Embed with production teams to identify high-friction moments where AI can save time without sacrificing broadcast quality.
- Back up the edit team as a senior-level resource when capacity is tight, applying knowledge of AI tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, engineering, and product teams on tool evaluation, licensing, and adoption.
