Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of real-world professional experience writing back end or data-driven software in demanding environments.
- Demonstrated experience deploying production code and services to cloud-hosted environments.
- Experience delivering incremental releases from proof-of-concept to MVP to production.
- Strong ability to work on large, complex problems.
- Deep commitment to engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge-sharing.
- Experience taking over codebases and carrying forward new feature development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading other engineers on complex projects.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
- Experience using workflow orchestration technologies like Temporal (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Ingest product requirements, define technical requirements, and design practical, iterative technology designs.
- Develop implementation plans against technical product roadmaps in collaboration with product managers.
- Maintain, develop, and deploy customer-facing workflows and product architecture.
- Analyze and propose technical solutions to enhance product offerings.
- Automate, test, and deploy team deliverables.
- Review code and technical designs, ensuring high quality and mentoring developers.
- Drive technical decision-making and problem-solving across the team.
- Identify and address technical and operational gaps.
