Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally at a fintech, wealth, or financial services company.
- Hands-on experience writing under SEC / FINRA oversight.
- Strong working knowledge of Islamic / Shariah-compliant investing and related concepts.
- Demonstrated SEO copywriting experience, including working from briefs with target keywords and competitor analysis.
- Versatility across formats including long-form articles, social media, video scripts, and paid ad copy.
- Excellent self-management skills in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Ability to revise quickly based on compliance feedback.
- Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer, or Clearscope is a plus.
- Experience with direct-response or performance marketing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write SEO-optimized blog articles from pre-built outlines covering investing fundamentals, Halal/Shariah-compliant investing, and product education.
- Translate keyword research and search intent into engaging long-form content.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices including meta tags, internal linking, and structured formatting.
- Write copy for landing pages, social media, video scripts, and paid ad campaigns.
- Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all content meets SEC and FINRA disclosure requirements.
- Turn around compliance revisions quickly and accurately.
