Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture design.
  • 7+ years of advanced Kubernetes experience, including cluster management, scaling, and optimization.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python or Go, with production-grade engineering experience.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Proven experience designing and operating enterprise CI/CD pipelines, with strong GitOps and ArgoCD knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of containerization, orchestration, networking, and cloud security best practices.
  • Ability to lead Proof of Concept initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems to both technical teams and executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage enterprise-grade Kubernetes environments on AWS EKS, including multi-cluster setups and service mesh architectures.
  • Define and execute long-term cloud and DevOps roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and platform modernization strategies.
  • Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD.
  • Develop and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Drive cloud security strategy including zero-trust architectures, automated compliance, and security-as-code.
  • Build and optimize observability platforms integrating metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives in collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Drive incident response efforts and improve system reliability through post-incident analysis.
  • Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
