Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in financial accounting (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachangestellte, or Steuerfachwirt).
- Deep knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) accounting standards.
- Familiarity with IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in DATEV and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with spend-management systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and a hands-on mentality.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Fluency in German and English.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate financial processes in collaboration with the finance team.
- Handle all financial accounting tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, and bank reconciliation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes as well as external audits.
- Analyze and optimize financial processes to drive efficiency.
- Support intercompany reconciliations, transfer pricing, and monthly consolidation.
- Represent the finance team to external partners and coordinate with internal departments.
