Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial management.
- 3+ years of experience managing and prioritizing the work of direct reports or project team members.
- Prior experience working in a non-profit organization.
- Prior experience working in a school or socially responsible organization.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Intacct, or FundEZ.
- Experience with payroll management software such as ADP or Paychex.
- Experience with Anybill.com is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between client and audit firm.
- Oversee the preparation and quality review of audit packages.
- Implement audit findings.
- Review and finalize annual budgets and financial reports.
- Manage staffing needs and ensure deliverables meet the scope of work for client portfolios.
- Serve as the point of escalation for client teams.
- Engage with client leadership on financial strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor financial goals and present analysis to stakeholders and Boards.
