Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, including designing and scaling frameworks from the ground up.
- Strong software engineering skills with ability to write clean, maintainable, production-grade test code.
- Deep hands-on experience building mobile, web, and API automation systems.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI coding assistants like Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for development, refactoring, and review.
- Strategic use of LLMs for generating test scaffolding, data synthesis, and failure triage.
- Experience integrating AI into automation pipelines for flaky-test detection or root-cause analysis.
- Ability to build custom prompts, internal utilities, and developer-facing automation infrastructure.
- Proven experience automating mobile applications for iOS and Android at scale.
- Strong proficiency with Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong API automation experience using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Strong coding skills in Python (primary) and JavaScript (secondary).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and modern automation architecture.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across mobile, web, and API.
- Use AI tools end-to-end to accelerate framework development, test creation, refactoring, and code review.
- Reduce regression cycles and improve coverage through robust automation design and AI-assisted test prioritization.
- Build internal automation tooling and developer infrastructure including prompt libraries, automated triage pipelines, and synthetic data generators.
- Own failure analysis by combining AI-powered log parsing and root-cause suggestions with deep engineering diagnosis.
- Integrate automation deeply into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable feedback loops.
- Drive engineering best practices across the automation codebase such as code reviews, design patterns, and modularity.
- Collect, analyze, and report automation and quality metrics to surface trends and bottlenecks.
