Requirements
- Professional experience in software development with one or more languages such as Rust, Java, or Go.
- Strong understanding of system automation and IT security principles.
- Hands-on experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, TiDB, Kubernetes, MinIO, or Elasticsearch.
- Verhandlungssicher (fluent/negotiation-proficient) in German.
- Good English language skills.
- Strong analytical skills combined with clear communication and presentation abilities.
- Passion for or experience in contributing to open-source technologies (nice to have).
- Availability for on-call duties to maintain high system uptime.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the availability, reliability, and efficiency of complex system architecture with approximately 70 servers.
- Maintain and automate infrastructure including Ubuntu, Percona MySQL Cluster, MinIO, Elasticsearch, Redis, NGINX, HAProxy, TiDB, Clickhouse, and Kubernetes.
- Develop and implement monitoring strategies and perform comprehensive error analysis to prevent recurring issues.
- Maintain high system availability, including providing on-call support during off-hours when necessary.
- Drive optimization initiatives to reduce incidents and ensure optimal system performance.
