Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of project management experience with a focus on electric transmission, utility infrastructure, or energy-related land and ROW work.
- Strong background in easement acquisition and land agreements specific to transmission or high-voltage infrastructure.
- Expertise negotiating ROW easements, surface leases, encroachment agreements, rights of entry, fee property, and damage settlements.
- Familiarity with FERC and state utility commission regulations.
- Proficiency with Vision project management software.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally throughout Wisconsin for client-facing work.
- AAPL or SR/WA certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee land and ROW acquisition activities supporting electric transmission infrastructure.
- Manage easement negotiations, rights of entry, surface agreements, damage settlements, and fee property transactions.
- Establish project scope, budgets, and schedules; manage contracts and sub-consultants.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, maintaining local presence and identifying opportunities for project expansion.
- Manage project documentation in Vision, oversee invoicing and collections, and deliver financial reporting.
- Coach and mentor project team members.
