Requirements
- Strong engineering foundation with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Python and its data-processing ecosystem.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure welcome).
- Understanding of modern data architectures (warehouses, data lakes, and data lakehouses).
- Experience with clean data modeling and designing data services/APIs.
- Proficiency with AI assistants and code-generation tools for productivity.
- Strong technical writing skills for specs, documentation, and design notes.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and deliver features with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of reliability and performance at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve data infrastructure for analytics, AI, and machine learning.
- Own features end-to-end, including ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption.
- Migrate and re-architect high-volume data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain platform infrastructure, focusing on performance, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and non-engineering peers through clear technical documentation and specs.
- Participate in team on-call rotations to ensure platform reliability.
