Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in platform, backend, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong ability to debug distributed systems using logs, metrics, traces, and data analysis tools like SQL.
- Experience working with backend technologies such as Node.js or TypeScript.
- Hands-on familiarity with APIs, integrations, web systems, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience working with AI/LLM systems, including prompts, retrieval workflows, or agent-based architectures.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English with customers or stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset to operate in ambiguous environments and drive problems to resolution.
- Experience using AI coding and productivity tools to accelerate development and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Own and resolve complex production issues end to end, including debugging APIs, integrations, customer-side behavior, and backend services.
- Investigate system behavior across logs, traces, SQL queries, and client-side signals to identify root causes.
- Design and implement durable fixes, automation, and safeguards to prevent recurring incidents.
- Collaborate directly with customers or internal stakeholders to reproduce issues and validate hypotheses.
- Translate production signals into structured improvements and roadmap input for engineering and product teams.
- Contribute to platform quality by building runbooks, improving observability, and strengthening diagnostic capabilities.
