Job Details

5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
Experience building and scaling production systems using Node.js and AWS.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
Proven ability to design reliable, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems.
Deep understanding of system architecture, performance optimization, and backend fundamentals.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects independently from concept to production.
Comfort working in ambiguous environments and making decisions with incomplete information.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and product teams.
Self-starter mentality with a bias toward execution and delivery.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering velocity while maintaining code quality.

Own the design, development, deployment, and scaling of backend systems and infrastructure supporting core financial products.
Build and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services that power customer-facing applications.
Design scalable cloud-native architectures using AWS and Node.js (TypeScript).
Take full ownership of system reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
Ship production-ready code frequently while balancing speed with engineering rigor.
Define and promote backend engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across the team.
Make informed architectural decisions, weighing trade-offs between scalability, speed, and complexity.
Collaborate closely with product engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Continuously improve system design to support growth, resilience, and evolving product needs.
