Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS.
- 3+ years of experience with orchestration tools such as Terraform.
- 3+ years of experience working with agile tools like Jira, Git, and Confluence.
- Possess an AWS certification or prepare to pursue one within 60 days of joining.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience using Ansible or Python.
- Expertise troubleshooting and managing Linux systems.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, including RBAC, creating manifests, troubleshooting pods, and Helm charts.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Implement automation for consistent, scalable, and reliable delivery of infrastructure and applications.
- Leverage modern tools to define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud.
- Implement and operate configuration management tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Support production and high-severity issues on weekends or off-hours as required.
- Travel to the Baltimore/DC metro region twice per year for PI Planning.
- Actively work day-to-day tasks from the backlog while innovating program solutions.
