Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Equivalent professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or video production.
- Practical experience in video editing and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI video tools.
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of video storytelling fundamentals, including narrative flow and audience engagement.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized files.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and adopt emerging AI technologies.
- Portfolio and/or showreel demonstrating expertise in motion graphics, editing, and compositing.
- Brief cover letter explaining interest in JoVE.
Responsibilities
- Transform rough animatics or storyboards into compelling sequences using AI video models.
- Design and adapt visual assets with AI and integrate them with live-action footage or animations.
- Explore and integrate AI tools to enhance video quality, automate tasks, and improve efficiency.
- Work with the Animation Lead, illustrators, and content teams to align visuals with educational goals.
- Ensure all AI-generated outputs meet quality, accuracy, and learning-objective standards.
- Maintain organized project file structures and adherence to production guidelines.
- Respond to feedback and iterate based on stakeholder inputs.
