Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume, production-oriented commercial lending.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of commercial lending guidelines, regulatory procedures, and laws.
- Ability to evaluate complex loan requests, financial capacity, and collateral.
- Experience with investor commercial real estate, C&I lending, and business deposit products.
- Valid driver's license for fleet vehicle operation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics preferred.
- Risk Management Association (RMA) Lending Certifications preferred.
- Experience with financial services loan and documentation systems like LaserPro preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new member business loan opportunities through networking and community involvement.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with existing/prospective members and centers of influence.
- Negotiate loan terms and conditions while adhering to commercial lending policies and federal/state regulations.
- Perform interviews, collect financial documentation, and collaborate with Credit Analysts on loan requests.
- Manage the member business lending portfolio, including annual term loan and risk reviews and monitoring delinquencies.
- Meet monthly loan production, profitability, and sales activity goals.
