Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering Operations, Program Management, or a data-heavy engineering role.
- Expert-level administration skills in Jira Cloud.
- Power user proficiency in Jellyfish.
- Deep understanding of Agile metrics and Engineering Investment categories.
- Strong knowledge of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, Change Failure Rate, Time to Restore).
- Advanced proficiency in Jira Automation and JQL.
- Foundational knowledge of SDLC process, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
- Comfortable leveraging AI agents and LLMs for data analysis and scripting.
- Ability to write basic Python or JavaScript for API integrations (preferred).
- Experience with GitHub and AWS (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain complex Jira Cloud workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules.
- Map Jira signals to Jellyfish allocation buckets to ensure accurate investment distribution reporting.
- Standardize issue types and field usage across 20+ squads for statistical validity.
- Use Atlassian Intelligence and LLMs to automate ticket hygiene, triage, and synthesize executive narratives.
- Monitor DORA and Flow metrics to identify systemic bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Finance to utilize Jellyfish data for R&D tax credit reporting and labor capitalization.
