Requirements
- Extensive experience serving as a senior or lead engineer in enterprise customer engagements.
- Proven technical leadership through direction, mentorship, and stewardship of engineering practices.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise covering cluster architecture, networking, storage, RBAC, and permission models.
- Literacy in operators, CRDs, and ability to write controllers in Go.
- Experience deploying into managed Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure including IAM and storage.
- Proficiency with Helm authoring and GitOps workflows via Flux or ArgoCD.
- Strong observability expertise using tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Hands-on experience building or running MCP servers or AI agent tooling.
- Experience using AI coding assistants and agentic workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead forward deployed engagements across APAC end to end, from scoping goals to production deployment.
- Act as the technical anchor and escalation point for complex platform and Kubernetes problems in the region.
- Design and deliver platform deployment improvements for Kubernetes and contribute changes upstream.
- Define reusable reference architectures and deployment patterns for regional engagements.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and pairing to set the technical bar for the team.
- Establish AI-assisted practices and channel APAC field insights back into the product roadmap.
