Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in podcast and/or video editing, with a strong focus on both long-form and short-form B2B content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) or equivalent professional editing tools.
- Proven experience creating content for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram, with measurable performance impact.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and motion design tailored to professional or B2B audiences.
- Experience interpreting audience analytics and applying insights to improve content performance and engagement.
- Excellent attention to detail across all stages of production, from audio cleanup to final export quality.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional creative and marketing teams.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating podcast-to-video transformations and high-performing short-form content.
- Availability to work aligned with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Own the full post-production workflow for podcast episodes and short-form video cutdowns, ensuring high-quality output, narrative coherence, and platform readiness.
- Extract and craft compelling moments from long-form interviews into engaging short-form content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- Apply advanced editing techniques including multi-camera synchronization, audio mixing, sound design, color grading, and motion graphics integration.
- Collaborate closely with producers, content strategists, and marketing teams to align edits with campaign objectives, audience expectations, and platform best practices.
- Monitor and apply insights from performance metrics such as retention, engagement, and drop-off rates to continuously improve editing strategies.
- Maintain and optimize post-production workflows using professional editing tools, ensuring efficiency and consistency across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with other editors and freelancers, ensuring stylistic consistency and providing feedback to maintain quality standards.
