Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering or equivalent.
- Experience architecting and operating production ETL/ELT pipelines for real-time, high-volume platforms.
- Deep proficiency with ClickHouse, Postgres, Athena, and distributed data systems like Kafka.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Expertise in workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Step Functions.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated testing for data.
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance for financial-grade platforms.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable ETL and data pipelines spanning ClickHouse, Postgres, Athena, and diverse cloud-native sources.
- Design, develop, and optimize distributed data storage solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Drive schema evolution, data modeling, and advanced optimizations including sharding, partitioning, and pipeline orchestration.
- Own the end-to-end data flow including integration, validation, lineage, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to support AI model experimentation and operationalization.
- Identify and implement technical and process improvements within a remote-first culture.
