Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Meaningful experience leading engineers as a manager or technical lead.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or internal platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with shared data systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, or lakehouse environments.
- Experience designing platform APIs or integration layers for consumption by other teams.
- Demonstrated exposure to production AI systems, with an emphasis on quality, reliability, latency, and cost impact.
- Experience with agent memory, retrieval systems, semantic search, or data architectures for LLM applications.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving architectural environments.
- Strong bias toward hands-on execution and systems thinking.
Responsibilities
- Own the cloud and data foundation for the AI organization, including shared runtime infrastructure, CI/CD patterns, and platform services.
- Design and build a unified data access layer to provide a coherent interface for agents and AI features.
- Define and manage shared AI data architecture, including agent memory and context stores.
- Build and operate data ingestion and transformation pipelines to support AI workloads and analytics.
- Shape technical strategy for scale, operability, cost, and maintainability.
- Partner with AI Quality & Governance to ensure privacy-sensitive, PII-aware, and secure data handling.
- Provide platform patterns and reusable services to assist product teams in migrating to shared foundations.
- Hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team.
