Requirements
- 6–10+ years of product design experience with ownership of complex, multi-surface products.
- Demonstrated track record of operating as a principal-level individual contributor.
- Proven experience managing a small team of designers.
- Strong systems thinking capabilities across end-to-end user journeys.
- Deep expertise in designing acquisition, onboarding, or conversion-focused flows.
- Sharp product judgment for balancing execution speed with long-term scalability.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments and defining problems before solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with executives and cross-functional partners.
- Experience working in early-stage or high-growth environments.
Responsibilities
- Own experience quality across consumer and provider surfaces, including web applications, checkout, onboarding, and provider portals.
- Lead design on complex, ambiguous problems, focusing on provider acquisition, clarity, and conversion.
- Design and maintain cohesive cross-experience journeys to reduce friction between user types.
- Set and enforce quality standards through direction, critique, and hands-on example.
- Act as a strategic partner to Product leadership to co-own strategy and roadmap prioritization.
- Manage and mentor a small team of Senior to Staff-level designers.
- Hire high-performing designers and coach them through design reviews and pairing sessions.
