Requirements

- Proven experience managing very large MySQL/MariaDB deployments at scale.
- Proficiency in running and debugging PHP applications in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of lower-level systems including filesystems, networking, and memory management.
- Ability to autonomously architect, prototype, and maintain complex hosting solutions.
- Extreme attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.
- Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per year for in-person team meetups.
Responsibilities
- Maximize service availability and uptime through proactive planning and architectural decisions.
- Optimize server-side and client-side interactions to ensure maximum speed for users.
- Maintain high security standards, proactive monitoring, and disaster recovery processes.
- Remove friction between developers and software shipping processes.
- Collaborate on a vertically integrated team to manage global infrastructure.
