Requirements
- Relevant degree or training in disciplines like Computing, Engineering, Math, or Physics.
- Minimum one year of solid experience in developing blockchain systems.
- Familiarity with public chains such as Bitcoin, Hyperledger, Ethereum, Tether, EOS, Ripple, and Monero.
- Sound knowledge of Linux and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with software development languages: Java, C++, Solidity, JS, Go, or Python.
- Experience developing smart contracts and knowledge of token contract standards like ERC20.
- Familiarity with consensus mechanisms and encryption algorithms (PoW, PoS, DPos, PBFT, RPCA, Raft).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architectures, and DevOps.
- Familiarity with third-party tools such as GitHub and other open-source projects.
- Excellent oral communication and English writing skills.
- Experience producing research outputs and structured reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide software development support, including blockchain coding or engineering, across BCI Research Divisions.
- Contribute inputs for Councils established under the BCI Fellowship Scheme.
- Support the development of Proof-of-Concept DLT applications across sectors such as Finance and Energy.
- Attend conferences and events to promote the BCI and demonstrate prototypes.
- Engage with key stakeholders to progress the BCI mission.
