Requirements
- 5+ years of directly relatable work experience.
- Background in venture-backed companies, investment banking, or investing (FinTech or start-up experience is a plus).
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling and technical skills.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach.
- Proven ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong accounting and systems knowledge (financial planning software experience is a plus).
- Strong data visualization skills with the ability to synthesize complicated analyses.
- Ownership mentality and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish cross-functional relationships to drive attainment of business goals.
- Support product, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams with custom financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Analyze financial results versus budget/forecast to provide actionable decision support.
- Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation, and long-range planning.
- Support the Accounting Team in month-end/quarter-end close and audit processes.
- Prepare analyses for potential strategic acquisitions, partnerships, or investments.
