Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages supporting enterprise financial institution platforms.
- Experience in a financial institution developing and supporting business applications environments.
- Experience in systems analysis, application development, testing, technical documentation, job scheduling, and report writing.
- Fundamental understanding of at least one of the following: Retail Operations, Lending Operations, or Financial Backoffice Operations.
- Must own a personal smartphone to use multi-factor authentication for data security.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create, analyze, review, and modify programs for data processing and applications using JHA Symitar PowerOn programming language.
- Utilizes sound software development life cycle (SDLC) practices to deliver application solutions.
- Collaborates with third-party vendors to ensure seamless implementation, maintenance, and support of software and hardware.
- Commits application configuration updates to stage / test environment and plans for rollbacks.
- Troubleshoots issues and resolves incidents in support of production applications.
