Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience in a professional team working on production-grade products.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Large Language Models in a product or engineering context.
- Strong development skills in Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI configurations using LangChain or LangGraph.
- Practical knowledge of prompt design, optimization, and evaluation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and code review processes.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
- Proven experience supporting or informally mentoring other engineers.
- Product-focused mindset with the ability to balance innovation and delivery timelines.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement agentic AI workflows, including patterns such as tool use, reflection, multi-step reasoning, and prompt chaining.
- Design, build, and iterate on LLM-powered features within the Hume platform.
- Integrate Generative AI capabilities into current product components, ensuring seamless fit with established codebases and deployment pipelines.
- Act as an internal expert and mentor, helping other engineers understand LLM integration patterns and prompt engineering.
- Support the deployment lifecycle of AI components, collaborating on CI/CD processes, model serving, monitoring, and reliability in production.
- Drive engineering best practices including prompt versioning, evaluation frameworks, and regression testing.
