Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Advanced PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform or equivalent cloud environments.
- Experience with distributed and event-driven systems.
- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, observability, testing, and security.
- Fullstack mindset with experience in React and modern frontend tooling.
- Strong communication skills with experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-performance TypeScript-based APIs for large-scale cinema and discovery products.
- Develop and evolve PostgreSQL data models, optimizing schemas, queries, and transactional flows.
- Build and maintain cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and event-driven architectures.
- Design and implement robust data ingestion pipelines and event-based systems.
- Contribute to fullstack feature development using React-based ecosystems when required.
- Lead architectural decisions through RFCs, code reviews, and mentoring other engineers.
