Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including pipeline and analytical-data architecture.
- Expertise in SQL and Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Postgres.
- Hands-on experience with columnar-store databases such as ClickHouse.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Temporal, Airflow, or Dagster.
- Experience with large-scale data operability.
- Proven track record of setting technical standards and leading data initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, AI-first environment.
- Bonus: Experience with multi-tenant SaaS data.
- Bonus: Experience in insurance, fintech, or regulated/document-heavy domains.
Responsibilities
- Architect ingestion and transformation pipelines from bronze to silver to fact tiers across multiple customers.
- Manage multi-tenant data modeling and optimize performance/cost across Postgres and ClickHouse.
- Define standards for dataset configuration, KPIs, and reconciliation to ensure data trust.
- Build reliable and observable data orchestration.
- Lead data quality strategy.
- Mentor data and product engineers and review high-impact data projects.
