Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable education.
- Extensive experience in developing with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Excellent command of German (at least C1 level).
- Good command of English (at least B2 level).
- Self-reliant, analytical, structured, and diligent work style.
- Strong service and customer orientation.
- Team spirit and resilience.
- Knowledge of AWS environment (e.g., RDS) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, including implementing new features and optimizing codebases.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling, performance monitoring, tuning, and migrations.
- Participate in DevOps tasks, including application deployment, maintaining microservices in Kubernetes, and performing database migrations.
- Develop and integrate interfaces with external POS and merchandise management systems for optimized data exchange.
