Requirements
- Native speaker in Slovak language.
- Excellent command of Italian in both comprehension and writing.
- Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience required.
- IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools.
- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience in translation and proofreading specialized in technical fields.
- Understanding of MTPE processes and tools.
- Linguistic and cultural competence in both source and target languages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform light and full post-editing on machine translation outputs according to client specifications.
- Ensure the target text accurately reflects the source meaning while maintaining key terminology.
- Correct grammar, punctuation, formatting, and cultural references.
- Apply project instructions, glossaries, translation memories, and style guides.
- Spot inconsistencies and ensure quality standards are met.
