Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
  • 2 years of experience configuring Workday Payroll end-to-end within the last 3 years.
  • Workday United States Payroll certification.
  • Ability to build complex payroll calculations.
  • Experience managing multiple positions.
  • Experience implementing multiple FEINs.
  • Strong understanding of US state taxes, local taxes, and FLSA calculations.
  • Knowledge of Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits interdependencies.
  • Experience with payroll regulatory requirements, tax, garnishments, and payroll accounting.
  • Strong consulting skills including presenting and workshop facilitation.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for global customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and commercially viable.
  • Assess customer business requirements and provide expert guidance on Workday Payroll functionality.
  • Mentor junior consultants and support team knowledge sharing.
  • Manage project dynamics, balancing customer demands with commercial objectives.
  • Support AMS with subject matter expertise.
  • Identify and implement improvements in tools and delivery processes.
