Requirements
- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience.
- Native speaker of Italian.
- Excellent command of English in comprehension and writing.
- Documented Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience.
- Proficiency in Translation Memory tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS).
- IT skills with specific knowledge/experience of SDL Studio and CAT tools.
- Technical expertise in Software UI and product documentation translation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform light and full post-editing on Machine Translation (MT) outputs per client specifications.
- Ensure target text accurately reflects source meaning and terminology.
- Correct formatting, tagging, punctuation, and cultural references.
- Apply linguistic tasks using project instructions, translation memory, and glossaries.
- Maintain high quality standards and style requirements.
