Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or integrated search strategy, ideally within an agency environment.
- Proven experience leading SEO strategy across enterprise or high-growth client accounts.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing teams, ideally with 4+ direct reports.
- Deep understanding of SEO disciplines including content strategy, technical SEO, analytics, and integrated search approaches.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect SEO performance to broader business outcomes.
- Experience identifying account growth opportunities and contributing to revenue expansion.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills in high-stakes client environments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools and a mindset focused on continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead SEO strategy development and execution across a portfolio of high-value client accounts, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives, through transparent and strategic communication.
- Drive account growth through retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities grounded in performance and client needs.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of SEO professionals, supporting their growth, performance, and career progression.
- Contribute to hiring efforts by participating in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting new team members.
- Translate SEO performance data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
- Drive thought leadership by sharing industry trends, testing insights, and innovative SEO approaches.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, enhance SEO workflows, and experiment with new approaches to optimization and analysis.
- Resolve client and team challenges effectively, ensuring strong alignment and maintaining high levels of trust and satisfaction.
