Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on iOS development
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
- Strong experience building production mobile applications using AVFoundation
- Experience delivering camera-heavy workflows involving image, video, or document capture
- Experience building offline-first mobile applications
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and application performance
- Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services
- Ability to independently own features from design through production deployment
- Previous experience at companies such as Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Airbnb, Stripe, or similar technology organizations
Responsibilities
- Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
- Build guided multi-step capture workflows with validation, sequencing, and completion checks
- Develop camera-heavy experiences involving photo capture, video recording, and document scanning
- Implement offline-first mobile workflows with synchronization and recovery mechanisms
- Build robust upload systems with retries, progress tracking, and poor-network handling
- Integrate backend APIs and collaborate on service contracts and data models
- Implement quality validation workflows for captured media and structured user inputs
- Drive architectural decisions focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Handle edge cases related to permissions, uploads, interrupted sessions, and media processing
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Platform Engineering teams
