Requirements
- Native-Level in German
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- 3+ years experience in Translation/Localization of marketing & Life Sciences content
- University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent
- Thorough understanding of the localization process
- User experience with Windows and Office applications
- User experience with CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Studio)
- Experience with issue tracking and query management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Ability to present information and respond to questions
Responsibilities
- Perform entertainment, marketing, PR and Life Sciences translations and reviews (English to German)
- Perform copy edit tasks on assigned projects or accounts (English to German)
- Perform lead support on assigned projects or accounts.
- Managing and maintaining the language materials (including glossaries, Style Guides, work instruction)
- Conduct research to ensure the best quality of delivery
- Master or learn the tools associated with translation work
- Interact with clients on linguistic matters as required
- Participate in the development of new and improved working processes
- Develop and train internal linguists/new and existing freelancers
