Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or technical leadership.
- Proven ability to design, prototype, scale, and launch data science solutions.
- Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and algorithms.
- Experience in domains such as anomaly detection, NLP, computer vision, personalization, or optimization.
- Excellent programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with software engineering principles such as testing, code reviews, and deployment.
- Working knowledge of data engineering fundamentals.
- Product-oriented mindset with innovative thinking.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Graduate degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative field is a plus.
- Experience with applied machine learning and cloud deployment (Azure preferred) is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy advanced forecasting models for sales, inventory, transportation, and transit time estimation.
- Collaborate with fulfillment, transportation, revenue, product, engineering, and data science teams.
- Own machine learning projects end-to-end—from ideation and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring.
- Identify opportunities for optimization to reduce costs, improve inventory placement, and minimize transit times.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including Director to C-Suite levels.
- Promote best practices in modeling and experimentation to ensure scalability and reliability.
