Requirements
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS and/or GCP, including core services such as serverless computing, databases, and messaging systems.
- Solid background in microservices architectures, event-driven systems, and RESTful API design.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and SRE practices, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes.
- Ability to design and reason about scalable, distributed systems with strong architectural thinking.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills and ability to balance trade-offs in architecture design.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to Product and Business teams, translating requirements into scalable and technically sound AI-driven architectural solutions.
- Design end-to-end cloud-native architectures with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, and performance across AWS and/or GCP environments.
- Define and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and integration patterns to ensure optimal solution design.
- Ensure architectural alignment with DevOps principles, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and platform reliability.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as RFCs, architecture diagrams, and system flows to guide engineering execution.
- Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and cloud-native innovations, to continuously evolve the platform.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams during implementation to ensure adherence to architectural principles and design integrity.
- Oversee security, performance, and FinOps practices to ensure cost-efficient and well-governed solutions.
