Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or analyst roles
- Hands-on experience with general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP and/or IFRS)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Conditional formatting, Financial model building)
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (SAP preferred; QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Comfortable working with large data sets and financial reporting tools
- Advanced Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions
- Support payroll validations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with cash tracking, treasury operations, and cash flow reporting
- Help maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable processes
- Build and maintain Excel-based reports and financial analysis
- Identify discrepancies, trends, or operational inconsistencies in financial data
- Prepare documentation and schedules for audits and compliance reviews
- Work with multiple teams to validate financial information and improve reporting accuracy
