- 4+ years in senior engineering leadership or management.
- 8+ years building production software across multiple stacks.
- Strong full-stack technical judgment and hands-on ability.
- Experience delivering B2B/SaaS products and eCommerce builds.
- Agency experience leading delivery across multiple projects.
- Excellent professional English (spoken and written).
- Reliable overlap with standard US Central Time business hours.
- Based in Latin America.
- Practical, fluent use of AI coding tools and agents.
Responsibilities
- Set and uphold the technical bar across architecture, code quality, and testing.
- Coach engineers on craft, judgment, autonomy, and technical decision-making.
- Plan monthly delivery cycles and hold the team to strong task discipline.
- Own and evolve the engineering operating system, standards, and patterns.
- Increase team's use of AI coding tools through patterns and guardrails.
- Stay hands-on by contributing code to high-risk work and hard problems.
- Own engineering hiring and assess candidates for craft and fit.
- Communicate proactively across a remote team.
