Requirements
- Direct STS GTS or ACS registry abstraction experience within the last 12 months.
- Exposure to multiple EMR systems and clinical databases.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel).
- High attention to detail and accuracy standards.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration.
- RN or LPN credential (preferred).
- Substantial clinical experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Categorize, code, and interpret clinical registry information from patient medical records.
- Ensure high-accuracy data submission for specified registries or measure data repositories.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize deadlines for team requests.
- Navigate EMR and registry entry tools, troubleshooting technical issues.
- Contribute to data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and business process improvements.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory/publicly reported data requirements.
