Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Neurology residency.
- Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and/or Epilepsy.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology (ABPN).
- Certificate in Child Neurology with ability to read neonatal to adult EEG.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state.
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses.
- Eligibility for credentialing and privileging at client facilities.
- DEA registration if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Remotely interpret and report routine, ambulatory, and continuous EEG studies.
- Identify and characterize seizures, epileptiform activity, and encephalopathy.
- Provide timely preliminary and final reports based on service level expectations.
- Communicate findings to referring physicians and intensivists.
- Collaborate with EEG technologists and care teams for quality assurance.
- Ensure interpretations comply with ACNS guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and EEG systems.
- Participate in peer review and performance improvement activities.
