Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar requirements-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and document complex business requirements across multiple stakeholders or departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile or agile-adjacent environment.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for requirements tracking and documentation.
- Experience working in a Microsoft Teams-based collaborative environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the intake and discovery process for internal data initiatives, ensuring requirements are fully understood and documented before development resources are engaged.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear, dev-ready documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, data definitions, and reporting logic.
- Contribute to a groomed and prioritized requirements backlog in collaboration with the Technical Project Manager.
- Serve as the ongoing point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements for analytics, business intelligence, and reporting solutions.
- Support stakeholder validation of early builds, prototypes, and draft deliverables.
- Identify gaps, conflicts, or risks in requirements early and resolve them proactively.
- Participate in agile ceremonies.
