Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience liaising with both the business and technology teams.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into non-technical language.
- Experience with Agile development methods on data-oriented projects.
- Experience with modeling tools relating to process, data, and workflow at the conceptual level.
- Experience using BPMN for process modeling/mapping.
- Experience in data lifecycle and ETL design.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and data profiling.
- Direct experience in data migration/synchronization between complex systems.
- Experience in creating complex test plans and quality assurance plans.
- Direct experience in various systems analysis methodologies (data analysis, mapping, flowcharting, use cases, story writing).
- Direct experience in Agile methodologies including iterative design, build and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Capture data, technical integration requirements and develop data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, data mapping, entity relationship diagrams and ‘To-be’/’As-Is’ process flow diagrams.
- Facilitate interviews and process workshops to gather requirements from key stakeholders.
- Build user stories translated from to-be use-case(s) and process maps, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design, build and maintain the enterprise business data architecture.
- Develop roadmaps of data management in collaboration with the Business Systems Manager team.
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices in business data flow and enterprise system integration process modelling.
- Identify critical relationships across systems, gaps and/or areas of risk.
- Partner with Enterprise Applications team on dataflow, migration and data integrity.
- Provide support on design and implementation of in-system vs Enterprise Data Warehouse reporting.
