Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, building, and managing complex AWS cloud systems.
- Hands-on experience with FedRAMP and GovRAMP compliance.
- Experience partnering with security teams for SOC2 Type 2 compliance.
- Expert-level AWS proficiency (EKS/ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route53).
- Deep expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, and advanced deployment strategies.
- Extensive experience with observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of Node-based systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to maintain stringent, audit-ready documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Refine infrastructure baselines to ensure scalable AWS architecture.
- Bake FedRAMP and GovRAMP compliance requirements directly into infrastructure as code.
- Transform CI/CD processes into a frictionless, automated engine.
- Optimize GitHub Actions pipelines to reduce build times.
- Implement comprehensive metrics, tracing, and intelligent alerting for proactive observability.
- Author detailed runbooks, architectural diagrams, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams to drive production reliability.
