Requirements
- Proven experience as a Performance Test Lead, Performance Engineer, or SDET.
- Strong experience defining performance testing strategies and frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise with modern performance testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, k6, or Locust.
- Deep understanding of scalability, distributed system performance, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and root cause analysis.
- Experience defining and tracking performance SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-team quality improvements.
- Strong skills in Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the organisation-wide performance testing and engineering strategy.
- Design and implement scalable performance test frameworks and automation pipelines.
- Lead performance validation for microservices architectures, Kafka, and high-throughput APIs.
- Conduct capacity planning, infrastructure benchmarking, and performance analysis using tools like Prometheus, Datadog, and ELK.
- Define and enforce performance SLAs, SLOs, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to QA and engineering teams.
- Analyse production performance data to drive system responsiveness and operational resilience.
