Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or financial data roles.
- Deep SQL proficiency.
- Strong Python skills (pandas, PySpark, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
- Familiarity with ACH transaction cycles, payment rails, or financial settlement processes.
- Experience building anomaly detection logic (rule-based, statistical, or ML-driven).
- Exposure to probabilistic/fuzzy matching techniques.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Practical AI/ML knowledge (supervised and unsupervised methods).
- Experience working with LLMs or AI-assisted tooling.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM, Economics, or Finance field.
Responsibilities
- Build the reconciliation foundation for Dave's data systems.
- Design and implement data infrastructure to reconcile internal and external transactions.
- Develop and maintain a library of anomaly detection rules.
- Implement AI-powered matching to resolve ambiguous transactions.
- Build pipelines to surface anomalous or unmatched records.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
- Establish data quality standards and validation frameworks.
- Drive automation of reconciliation workflows.
- Mentor team members and promote data quality best practices.
