Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a research, data analysis, or insights-driven role
- Experience analyzing POS, retail sales, or similar transactional data
- Strong SQL skills including window functions, CTEs, joins, and aggregations
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
- Expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Client-facing communication skills
- Experience with Git and GitHub-based development workflows
- Self-starter mentality
- Comfortable with startup ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Conduct custom analysis of POS and retail sales data for manufacturer clients
- Partner directly with clients to scope analytical requests and manage expectations
- Translate business problems into research frameworks and executive-ready presentations
- Write and refine SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze large-scale datasets
- Help design operational processes for the research team
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing for data-backed insights
- Serve as a power user of the Bolt platform to automate workflows
- Provide actionable feedback to the Bolt development team
- Develop reusable patterns and templates to improve platform accuracy
