- Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in 1-2-1 therapy sessions with adults
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Counselling from Australia or New Zealand.
- Valid registration with PACFA (Clinical) or ACA (Level 3 or above).
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in 1-2-1 therapy sessions with adults.
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Demonstrated experience in evidence-based counselling.
- Minimum of 400 hours of documented counselling instruction and 140 hours of delivered therapy.
- Completion of a minimum of 40 hours of recorded therapy during course placement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver short-term, solution-focused therapy to members within a stepped care model.
- Conduct six online counselling sessions per day.
- Work with members from diverse backgrounds, providing culturally safe and inclusive support.
- Assist members in developing self-regulation strategies and achieving their mental health goals.
- Consult with internal and external health and wellbeing providers to implement individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive case notes in compliance with best practice standards.
- Engage in regular clinical supervision, training, and quality assurance activities.
