Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Strong experience with PHP in production.
- Experience with Go (or strong ability to ramp up).
- Proven experience designing high-traffic, customer-facing systems.
- Experience decomposing monoliths or extracting services.
- Solid experience designing APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Comfortable using AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.
- Proven experience in product-oriented engineering teams, ideally within SaaS.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services in PHP and Go.
- Drive the extraction of services out of our monolith.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to ship features.
- Design and ship APIs built for agentic interfaces.
- Improve page speed and end-to-end performance.
- Contribute to high-level architectural decisions.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate code delivery.
