Requirements
- Core/Vanilla PHP (7.x/8.x) with strong OOP (interfaces, traits, namespaces, SOLID).
- RESTful API design and implementation including JSON and authentication patterns.
- SQL mastery including query optimization, indexing, and transactions.
- MongoDB fundamentals for schema design and aggregations.
- Front-end proficiency: jQuery, semantic HTML, modern CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with external API integrations (OAuth, webhooks, idempotency).
- AWS experience with Elastic Beanstalk, S3, DynamoDB, and logging.
- Strong security focus (CSRF/XSS/SQL injection prevention).
- Experience with Cloudflare SSL/TLS, DNS, and caching.
- WordPress CMS experience.
- Git proficiency and experience with collaborative workflows.
- Linux/CLI comfort for diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Ship features end-to-end in a framework-free, OOP PHP codebase.
- Design and implement RESTful endpoints with request validation and versioning.
- Write robust SQL queries, optimize indexes, and integrate via PDO.
- Design MongoDB schemas and aggregation pipelines.
- Build front-end interactions with jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Integrate external APIs using OAuth, webhooks, and rate-limit strategies.
- Operate in AWS including Elastic Beanstalk deployments and S3 asset management.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and DNS via Cloudflare.
- Collaborate on WordPress CMS content ingestion and headless integration.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation.
